At Mount Hawke Academy we strive to deliver high quality education within our local community. We currently take admissions from children from Reception through to Year 6.
We are fortunate enough to have the capacity to increase our intake and are currently investigating the potential of adding a nursery setting for 2 year olds, 3 year olds and 4 year olds. The aim of this move is to provide greater educational opportunities for our children with an enhanced transition between the nursery and the school. We also envisage that this will have additional benefits from feeling part of our school community from a younger age and will provide greater consistency for our parents and families.
A four-week consultation (excluding the Christmas break) process to amend our funding agreement to 2-11 years starts on Thursday 5th December 2024 and ends on Thursday 16th January 2025.
Stakeholder Meeting
We would like your feedback on this proposal in advance of us submitting an application to the Department of Education to change our funding agreement to cover the ages of 2-11 years. We held a stakeholder engagement meeting on Tuesday 10th December at 10 am at Mount Hawke Academy to discuss our plans for the proposal and thank everyone who came along.
