Assemblies
Assemblies play an important part in a child’s learning. Over the course of the year at Mount Hawke Academy, our assemblies cover a variety of themes.

- Current Affairs
We also have visitors to these assemblies, including ‘Open the Book’, teachers from other schools, local councillors and community representatives.
On Tuesday, we hold our singing assemblies, where the school community comes together to celebrate in song.
On Wednesday and Thursday, assemblies are held in classes.
On Friday, we hold our Celebration assemblies, where children are recognised for progress and achievement, for following the school rules, for representing the school in the wider community, for being a SuperStar...indeed, our Friday assemblies are a super end to the week.
